This Family Porch Swing is handcrafted by our own skilled craftsmen. This comfortable bench sits three adults or 5 children very comfortably.

The Family Porch Swing bench is ergonomically designed for maximum comfort without the need for cushions. The seat is contoured and the front rolled downward to prevent pressure points behind the knees. The back is designed with a gentle curve to support your lower back and tall enough to rest your head against for star gazing. The back is finished off with our trademark rolled top giving it a beautiful balanced symmetry to the look.

Each piece is hand sanded to a beautiful finish (no rough edges on our products! All hand sanded and hand rounded edges. You won’t find a better constructed or comfortable porch swing bench anywhere else. We truly do make the "Best" and we guaranty it!

This solid bench is made to hold as much as 1200lbs *

Seat is 60” wide and 18” deep.

The swing is put together with oversized never rust stainless steel hardware.

That being said the chain we use is oversized rust resistant and zinc coated chain. You can upgrade to stainless steel chain if you want. Please be advised though that stainless steel chain is very expensive and that it will add an extra $175.00 to the cost of the swing and if extra length of chain is needed it will be an extra $8.00 per foot needed.

Just let us know in the notes section of the order page or if you prefer just call or email us and we will let you know what the exact cost will be. We will not charge your order until confirming with you first is you wish to upgrade to Stainless steel chain.

 2’ of additional chain for each side is included with the purchase of the bench so that the bench can be installed on a typical porch with an 8’ ceiling height.  More chain available at additional $6.00 per additional foot required. Just make sure to measure the height from floor to ceiling before ordering.

Important Note: installation hardware holding the swing bench to your ceiling not included. Professional installation is recommended. DFC Woodworks Inc cannot be held responsible for injuries caused by poor or improper installation.

 

This swing bench is shipped partially assembled in a solid crate with the bench and seat fully assembled with only the arm assembly left to be assembled. Very easy and we include a very simple assembly sheet with pictures for your convenience.

* Though the swing is built solid enough to hold 1200 lbs the eye bolts that you use for installation could greatly reduce the swings holding capacity. Please make sure that you take the advice of a professional before you install as to prevent personal injury or better yet use the services of a professional installer.

Space requirement:

68” (173 cm) long x 27”(69cm)wide  It would be recommended that at least 6”(15cm) space allowance be available on each side of the bench and that the bench should not be placed on a porch of less than 5 feet (152 cm) wide.

All our products are custom handcrafted with love and care per order. We work around the clock to provide the fastest delivery possible. Orders are usually shipped within within 10-30 days from the time we receive the order. Expect longer waiting times during peak season. All products are shipped by FedEx Ground for the continental USA and Canada.

Shipping cost for overseas orders are determined in a per order basis. We will not process overseas orders before confirming with you the total additional shipping costs. Please see our overseas dealer listings in the contact us page for a dealer close to your location.

in the early spring and summer month’s orders may be subject to longer delivery time frames.
